I live right on the edge of Lake LA. Behind my house about a mile or so away are some mountains which stretch for 5 miles. The the left of my house lies some buts which rest another mountain on it. And in front of my house lies about 3 miles away is the Indian Museum which behind it lay mountains. Just out of courrousity, has anyone or anyone you know tried looking for gold in these mountains. I know of the other gold bearing mountains in Lancaster and all around. What not to say that these mountains dont pocess that glittering beauty. Should I get some dirt, bring it back to my house and pan it in a tub outside to see what the results are? If you would like to see pictures of these mountains feel free to email me. Also, should I get dirt from the base of the mountain around the rocks? We just had some heavy and long rains a few days ago, mabe a good ammount (if any exist) came down!!!! Im gonna have my dad take me out tomorrow and bring back some sample buckets. Ill let you all know the results later!!!!
