The only reference to "Beveridge" that I can find is located in Inyo county not Indio. It is located north of New York butte. This gold camp was established in 1877 by W. L. Hunter and named after John Beveridge of Cerro Gordo fame. The main producer in the area was the Keynot mine with a total production of half a million dollars.
