I need to know how gold miners of old used that box-like contraption that they may have put dirt, rock and such in and shaken. I imagine it was some kind of sifter, but I would like a good description of how it worked and what it was called. PLEASE e-mail me asap. I need info for a speaking engagement in 5 days. THANK YOU!!
