It is called a shaker box / shaker sluice I still use one my self it works along the same lines of a classifier execpt it is on a larger scale when shaken it will brake down dirt clods clean most of the dirt from rock and classify large from small. when used with the sluice it will cut your time down to about half or better as it will allow the dirt to be washed away at the same time as the sluice is operating. Ray
