I just stumbled on to the goldledge web site this week. I noticed that back in 1999 you were looking for infornation on an old mining town called Humbug. I have ben prospecting and exploring AZ. for the last 18 years and the only referance That I know to Humbug is Humbug creek and the only town on this creek is Columbia, not much of a town just a fiew old buildings and tlrs. If you are looking for it it is about 35 mi. north of Phoenix between lake Pleasant and the Bradshaw mountains. This cerrk has water in it most of the time as a result it has ben worked to death for the last 100+ yrs. Still some gold but I do much better in the small dry side canyons.
