Arizona
Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum -- There are more
than 3,000 minerals on exhibit. Highlighting the collection are the colorful minerals from
Arizonas copper mines. Among the spectacular individual specimens on display are an
eight-foot piece of native copper, a large quartz geode, rocks from the first Moon
landing, and a fragment of Meteor Craters meteorite weighing 206 pounds.

Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum -- Located in
the century-old former headquarters of the Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Company of
Bisbee, Ariz., the museum explains in words, pictures and artifacts, of why Bisbee came
about, what life here was like a century or more ago, who the residents were, where they
came from, and what they did, both for work and for entertainment in their everyday
lives.

University of Arizona Mineral Museum -- The museum
has accumulated more than 15,300 mineral specimens in the main collection and an
additional 6,100 in the micromount collection. The collection currently represents 1214
different species with 2,153
minerals presently on display. The mineral museum also has two displays of meteorites from
